Climate Initiatives

Partnering with communities to find healthy and resilient ways to adapt to our changing environment.

The Arctic is warming four times faster than the global average. Alaska communities are on the front lines. Current and future change has a direct impact on human health and well-being. Our department works with communities, Tribal, state, and federal partners to develop and implement solutions from the community to national levels.
