About
Samantha Thayer (Sam, she/her) is originally from Sheridan, Wyoming, is a member of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe, and has lived in Anchorage, Alaska for the past 20 years. She has earned an Associate of Science in Health Administration Services from Colorado Technical University and has a desire to return to school to further her education.
Prior to her work with the BHWC, she was employed as a Home Health Aide and provided care to disabled and elderly clients for 10 years. Currently, Sam is working on earning her Behavioral Health Aide I certification and shares that she is excited to be a BHWC staff member.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys reading and learning, playing games with friends and family, and being out in nature.
