For Phase 1C, remaining demolition continues and the saw cutting of the existing slab will start the last week of December, which will create noise.

The temporary shoring wall along the east margin of the hospital and excavation for the new building tower footprint is also paused until after the New Year. The exterior heavy demolition is now complete.

Reminder: Temporary Emergency Services Department now open

Access to the Temporary ESD is from the Diplomacy Drive entrance. The Tudor Centre entrance is for emergency vehicle access only. The former Emergency Room entrance is closed for construction.
