Check out the reimagined Mukluk Telegraph newsletter from ANTHC
August 18, 2022Taking inspiration from the adaptability of Alaska Native people, we continue to adapt our work at the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium. We’re excited to announce a reimagined way to connect with you – a newly redesigned Mukluk Telegraph newsletter from ANTHC.
Read it online now or find a printed copy when you visit the Alaska Native Health Campus.
In the past two years, we’ve learned a lot about how people like to get their health information from ANTHC, so we wanted to apply these lessons for the benefit of our patients. The new Mukluk is designed to be fun to read and easy to see how you can take action to support your health.
When the COVID-19 pandemic started, there was a lot of new health information available and it quickly became hard to track what was most important to you and your family, as well as understand the actions that you could take to protect your health. Today, this continues with the greater number of channels and publications for health information in Alaska and across the U.S. At ANTHC, we want to help make sense of what health information is important to the Alaska Native people we serve.
The new design of the Mukluk Telegraph highlights Alaska Native cultural elements and health issues important to Alaska Native people. The information gives you easy health actions to take paired with engaging photos and illustrations. Each issue is designed to be easily read in the shorter amount of time our patients are spending waiting for appointments or the shorter amount of time people have in their busy and active lives.
We hope you enjoy the changes to the Mukluk Telegraph as much as we enjoyed making them. Please send us your comments at akamarketing@anthc.org.
