At ANMC our staff constantly go above and beyond in serving our people. Customer service is not only provided by our frontline staff, but by each employee who directly serves and cares for our people. Last week, ANMC celebrated National Customer Service Week and recognized our hardworking staff and gave special recognition to Katherine Swanson, ANMC Urology Physician Assistant, and the ANMC Internal Medicine Clinic team. Swanson received six written customer compliments in fiscal year (FY) 2016 and the ANMC Internal Medicine Clinic team received 47 written compliments in FY 16. Customer Service Week is a celebration of the importance of customer service and of the people who serve and support customers on a daily basis. In 1992, the U.S. Congress proclaimed Customer Service Week a nationally recognized event, celebrated annually during the first full week in October. “We have so many hardworking, compassionate staff at ANMC,” said Allison Knox, ANMC Vice President of Customer Experience. “While we take this week to recognize and celebrate them, our staff works hard all year round to support our patients and their families.” From our health care providers to our customer experience specialists, call center agents, Quyana House representatives, patient travel, medical clerks, patient transport, housekeepers, lift crew and shuttle drivers, each of our employees plays a role in providing the highest quality service and care for our people. You can contact our Customer Experience team to share comments, concerns, compliments or questions year round at 907-729-3990 or customercontact@anthc.org. Thank you to our staff for their hard work in serving our people.
