Alaska’s Careline suicide prevention and support hotline services now available on mobile app

Careline’s important crisis intervention services and referrals for more information are now available in a mobile app in the Apple App Store for iOS and on Google Play for Android. Careline is Alaska’s statewide 24/7 crisis line and a part of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline system. Careline provides crisis intervention for individuals considering suicide or experiencing crisis, isolation, or depression. The services have been available via a toll-free phone call 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 1-877-266-4357 (HELP) and text for help at 839863, 3-11 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday. Careline services are available for anyone in crisis, a suicide survivor, grieving from loss to suicide, concerned about someone or for anyone feeling down and needing someone to talk to. Careline is free and confidential, with operators that treat callers with respect and listen without judgment.
