2024 Mental Health Awareness Month activities
April 29, 2024In honor of May’s Mental Health Awareness Month, ANTHC will promote weekly activities to encourage healthy ways to navigate challenges in a changing world. The activities will help us learn, act, nurture and advocate in ways that positively affect our mental health.
Complete the activity and fill out a survey for a chance to win $100 in Amazon gift cards! Prize winners will be selected at random. One entry per person, per week. Must be a resident of Alaska to be eligible.
Weekly activities:
- May 1-12: Learn – Mental health impacts
- May 13-19: Act – Self-care
- May 20-26: Nurture – Self check-ins
- May 27-31: Advocate – Civic engagement

Crafting for Mental Health at ANMC Patient Housing
Cultural activities and social gatherings can both positively affect mental health. We will be hosting crafting sessions in the dining area of Patient Housing:
- Monday, May 6 from 1-3 p.m.
