HIV/STD Prevention ProgramPromoting sexual health and healthy relationships among Alaska Native people
HIV/STD Prevention Program
ANTHC’s HIV/STD Prevention Program works to reduce the prevalence of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and HIV in Alaska and to promote sexual health and healthy relationships among Alaska Native people.
The HIV/STD Prevention Program provides prevention resources and materials through www.iknowmine.org, a multi-media resource where youth, parents and providers can find information and resources about HIV, STDs, unplanned pregnancy and more. The program also provides access to free at home testing for chlamydia, gonorrhea and trichomonas through a partnership with Johns Hopkins University. Anyone in Alaska can visit www.iwantthekit.org to order a free testing kit.
