With the Holiday season underway, construction on the Skilled Nursing Facility is progressing right on schedule. The building is now almost fully erected, with steel installation expected to be complete in December. Crews are working to bring the second half of the courtyard up to grade while the interior and exterior east courtyard walls are being built.
Sprinklers are being installed throughout the building, and pre-rock drywall is being installed before the building envelope, which is expected to begin in December.
Upcoming Milestones:
- Installation of weather barrier and vinyl windows.
- Complete parapet framing.
- Move the facility onto permanent utilities.
Construction is underway at the corner of Ambassador Drive and Elmore Road. There should be no direct impacts on departments, although visitors on campus will likely notice the activity. Noise levels will increase in the immediate vicinity due to the operation of heavy equipment.
