As construction crews prepare for cold weather, an exciting milestone is just weeks away! On October 16, 2025, the building’s final interior and exterior footings and the stem walls were completed. This is big news, as the last significant milestone achieved in this project was in March of 2025 when site preparation and general foundations were completed.
As crews continue to work on the building’s foundation, they are also pouring concrete walls, framing sections of the building, and have begun the framing process. Preparation for winter is also underway with radiant heat and temp lights being installed on site.
Upcoming Milestones:
- Iron workers to start on phases 4 and 5
- Roofing in phase 2 to start after fireproofing
- Temporary gas lines to be dug in and inspected
Construction is underway at the corner of Ambassador Drive and Elmore Road. There should not have direct impacts on departments, although visitors on campus will most likely notice the activity. Noise levels will increase in the immediate vicinity due to the operation of heavy equipment
