Despite the snow and cold, our construction team has been making great progress this month. They’ve completed completed roof sections over phases 2 and 3, roughed in the ductwork on the first floor of phase 4, and backfilled and poured slab in the final phase. Fire proofers are finished in phase 2 and are now working on phase 3.
Note: “Phase” refers to the area or section being worked on. Each phase includes the first floor, second floor, and roof. See Phase map below.
Upcoming Milestones:
- Controls team to rough-in the heating controls and other low voltage items
- Complete all work on the heating and cooling lines in phase 4
- Move to permanent utilities for the facility
This is a new build construction project on the corner of Ambassador Drive and Elmore Road. There should not be direct impacts to departments, although visitors to campus will most likely notice the construction activity. Noise levels will rise in the immediate vicinity due to heavy equipment operation.
