Construction crews working on the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) are kicking off the new year with an exciting countdown — if all goes well, construction on the facility should be completed in one year.
This month, plumbers are laying domestic water waste lines throughout the first floor, installing fire alarms, fireproofing, and installing windows in the West exterior walls.
Upcoming Milestones:
- East exterior and window work.
- Move into phase 2 of duct and piping wrap.
- Move to permanent utilities for the facility
Construction is underway at the corner of Ambassador Drive and Elmore Road. There should be no direct impacts on departments, although visitors on campus will likely notice the activity. Noise levels will increase in the immediate vicinity due to the operation of heavy equipment.
