Rebecca Rivera is from Utqiaġvik, where she spent the foundational part of her career collaborating with Tribal and State organizations in the community and surrounding villages to support families with their reunification goals. Now Rebecca serves all Alaska as the BHWC’s initial contact for clients; she maintains the important role of connecting clients to care. Rebecca is an ACBHC certified Counselor Technician. She will soon earn her CHAPCB BHA II certification and graduate with her AAS degree in Behavioral Health from Iḷisaġvik College. Outside of the BHWC, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family and spending time outdoors.
