Alert: COVID-19 testing site temporary location change starting Monday, Aug. 24

August 21, 2020

As of Monday, Aug. 24, the ANMC COVID-19 drive-thru and walk-up nasal swab testing site is temporarily relocating to the parking lot at 4500 Diplomacy Drive. Follow directional signage to the new location and follow us on our blog and social media for the most up to date information.

Testing will be available as scheduled at the current location through the weekend. The testing site will reopen at 9 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 24 at its new temporary location at 4500 Diplomacy Drive, on the east side of the Alaska Native Health Campus near the corner of Tudor Road and Tudor Centre Drive.

All Alaska Native and American Indian people eligible to receive care at the Alaska Native Medical Center and members of their household, can get a COVID-19 test at the drive-thru site on the Alaska Native Health Campus in Anchorage every seven days. If you have no symptoms, you can proceed directly to the new site. If you have any symptoms (cough, runny nose, headaches, or others), please first contact your primary care provider or the Walk-In Clinic at 729-1500 to discuss the best test for you.

New: COVID-19 antibody testing is now available at the ANMC Walk-in Clinic and the Anchorage Native Primary Care Center.

As of Monday, Aug. 24, testing services at the drive-thru and walk-up site are also changing going forward. The campus testing site will only provide PCR nasal swabs to detect active COVID-19 infection. Antibody serology testing, which detects past infection, will now be available in the Walk-in Clinic and the Anchorage Native Primary Care Center for all eligible patients and their households.
