Alert: COVID-19 testing site temporary location change effective October 15

October 14, 2020

Effective October 15: The ANMC COVID-19 drive-thru and walk-up nasal swab testing has temporarily relocated to 4000 Ambassador Drive inside the Consortium Office Building.

This testing site will be a temporary location on the west side of the Alaska Native Health Campus near the corner of Elmore Road and Ambassador Drive. Follow signs around campus to the new location.

COVID-19 Testing is moving to an indoor location for the comfort of our patients and staff as the weather gets colder. Patients should park on the side of the building and use the side entrance. Please follow all prompts once inside.

Patients will walk inside to check-in and for COVID-19 nasal swab collection. The entire operation has been set up to maintain the health and safety of our patients with adequate physical distancing. Face coverings and physical distancing requirements will be enforced.

All Alaska Native and American Indian people eligible to receive care at the Alaska Native Medical Center and any members of their household can get a COVID-19 test at the Alaska Native Health Campus testing site in Anchorage every seven days.

The testing site is open Monday-Saturday 9 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sunday (and all observed ANTHC holidays) 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

If you have NO symptoms, proceed directly to the new site.

If you have symptoms such as cough, runny nose, headaches, or others, please contact your primary care provider or the Walk-In Clinic at 729-1500 to discuss the best test for you BEFORE proceeding to the testing site.

For the most updated information, read our updates at ANTHC’s COVID-19  page or Facebook.
