COVID-19 testing now available at ANMC in Anchorage

April 13, 2020

ANTHC expanded our testing capabilities and we urge you to seek testing if you have any symptoms that might suggest COVID-19.

COVID-19 has not yet reached Alaska in great numbers. We have a chance to take action and slow this virus in our communities. To achieve this, we must detect infections early.

COVID-19 may begin with mild common cold symptoms: cough, runny nose, headache and sore throat. These respiratory symptoms can also become more severe with fever, body aches and difficulty breathing. Some people may also have diarrhea and loss of appetite.

If you are experiencing these symptoms, call the Walk-in Clinic at (907) 729-1500 to determine if you need to be seen by a provider or if you can go directly for COVID-19 testing at our testing site.

We are all in this fight together, and ANTHC is dedicated to working with you to help stop this virus before it affects more of our family and friends.
