ANMC to host 9th Annual Health Fair at Alaska Federation of Natives conference

October 16, 2017

The 9th Annual ANMC Health Fair will be held on Oct. 19 and 20 at the Alaska Federation of Natives (AFN) Conference at the Dena’ina Convention Center in Anchorage. ANTHC partnered with Southcentral Foundation (SCF) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to host this year’s health fair.

The ANMC Health Fair will offer a variety of health information and services for the thousands of AFN attendees. Free flu vaccines will be offered during the two days of the health fair.

Many ANTHC and SCF programs will be present at the health fair, providing valuable information on health and wellness services to people attending AFN. Our programs will provide information on STD education, breast and cervical cancer awareness, tobacco cessation, dental care, colorectal cancer awareness, healthy meal planning, and more. ANMC Customer Experience will also be on hand to answer questions about customer experience, patient housing and travel, as well as listen to compliments and concerns from our people from around the state.

We are looking forward to our ninth year hosting the health fair and providing information on a wide variety of health topics to our people from across Alaska. We look forward to seeing you this week at the Dena’ina Convention Center!
