Emergency Services Expansion update – Oct. 3, 2025
Crews continue to finish up the foundation of the building. The basement concrete work is nearing completion, while the perimeter foundation walls are now being insulated and prepped for backfill. Preparation is underway for the grouting of the basement columns. Connecting steel between Zones 6 and 7 is underway, as is steel erection in Zone 7. (See images below). Skilled Nursing Facility update – Friday, Sept. 19
As construction crews prepare for cold weather, the foundation of the building and its erection are underway. Underground plumbing and electrical in phase 5 of the project is now underway, as the construction team prepares to form a composite floor by pouring a concrete slab over a metal form deck in a process known as ‘slab on deck.’ Steel is being installed up to the roof in Phase 3, and preparations for roof installation for Phase 1 are underway. Crews are making significant progress on the foundation of the building. The basement concrete work is close to completion and the perimeter foundation walls have been formed and poured. Zones 6 & 7 (see map below) are being prepped for steel installation that is scheduled for September 29-30. In honor of International Overdose Awareness Day, a coalition of community partners is hosting an event to bring community members and partner organizations together to build thousands of naloxone kits. Skilled Nursing Facility construction update – Tuesday, Aug. 19
Over the last couple of weeks, iron workers have been performing work in phases 2 and 3 of the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) project. Concrete has been poured up to the top of the wall in phase 3, and the roof decking in phases 1 and 2 has been welded down. Emergency Services Expansion update – August 13, 2025
We are excited to share that the Emergency Services Department (ESD) opened an additional 11 emergency exam rooms on July 29. These are individual patient rooms outfitted with the latest technology and equipment. This portion of the ESD is known as Zone Charlie. So far, the Emergency Services Expansion project has added 29 rooms to the ESD.
