Mental Health Awareness Month

May is Mental Health Awareness Month

In honor of May’s Mental Health Awareness Month, ANTHC is promoting activities to reflect on our day, show we care, connect with others, and support each other’s paths to wellness, to have more good days.

Online Activity

This year, we will host an online activity for all Alaska residents. The activity highlights reflecting on what a good day looks like to you, practicing self-care, connecting and empowering, and finding your path to wellness.

In every story, there is strength. Sharing our stories allows us to have more good days. Complete the activity and fill out a survey for a chance to win $100 in Amazon gift cards! To learn more and participate, visit www.anthc.org/MHAM. Prize winners will be selected at random. One entry per person. Must be a resident of Alaska to be eligible.

Crafting Event

The ANTHC Injury Prevention is partnering with Behavioral Health to host a series of in-person crafting events for patients at ANTHC Lodging at Tudor Centre. These crafting events will include bone-bead keychains or window charms, as well as information on resources and services for Tribal beneficiaries. The Patient Lodging at Tudor Centre crafting events will be:

  • Friday, May 1, from noon to 1:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, May 13, from noon to 1:30 p.m.
