We partner with Tribes, Tribal health organizations, state and federal agencies, and accredited universities and medical facilities to provide opportunities for learning and peer-to-peer collaboration.
Tell Your Heart Story Month

ANTHC recognizes September as Suicide Prevention Awareness Month and invites you to share how you navigate challenges and create more good days. Throughout the month, we will provide strategies that support well-being, strengthen resilience, and remind you that you are not alone.
Alaska Native Diabetes Conference
October 2026
The Alaska Native Diabetes Conference has been designed specifically for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, dietitians, CHA/P, psychologists, exercise physiologists, certified diabetes care and education specialists and other health care professionals who care for people with diabetes. The focus is on Alaska Native people.
Alaska Tribal Conference on Environmental Management
March 30- April 2, 2027
ATCEM is a vital networking space for Tribal environmental professionals from across the state to learn from one another, connect with support organizations and agencies, and discover resources to help assist in efforts to improve local environmental health.

Mental Health Awareness Month

Mental health is deeply personal and impacts our overall wellness. During May, ANTHC will promote activities to honor Mental Health Awareness Month and reflect on the following themes to help more people have good days: describe what a good day looks like, caring for the whole self, connecting and empowering communities to work together, and finding one’s own path to wellness.
Annual Alaska Indigenous Research Program
May 4-22, 2026
The Alaska Indigenous Research Program (AKIRP) is a collaboration between the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) and Alaska Pacific University (APU) to increase capacity for conducting culturally responsive and respectful health research that addresses the unique settings and health needs of Alaska Native and American Indian People.
2025 Annual Meeting

7th Alaska Native Health Research Conference

The Alaska Native Health Research Conference brings the Alaska research community together to foster new connections and share research conducted with and by Alaska Native peoples.
Tribal Public Health Summit

The first Alaska Tribal Public Health Summit aims to bring together Tribal leaders and staff from across the state to work on creative, collaborative solutions in a changing public health landscape. The focus is on Alaska Native public health.
