Work that is ongoing includes basement drywall, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations; hanger installation on Level 1 for ceiling infrastructure; fireproofing on Levels 2 and 3; and brick demolition on the north side of Level 4 on the existing hospital.
Concrete slab work is complete on Levels 1-4. Air Handler Units are being craned into the building at level 3.
On the horizon, concrete placement for Level 5 and exterior framing on Level 1 will begin in April; the exterior curtain wall work will commence in late May; and work on the north end of the parking lot will commence in June.
Potential Operational Impacts
Air intake plenums installed to improve air flow may cause some noise.
Brick demolition will cause noise and vibration. However, the majority of the demolition is on the exterior of mechanical spaces and away from occupied spaces.
Stairwell 6 closure is ongoing and is scheduled to run through the Spring of 2027.
