Basement, Level 1, and Level 3 mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations continue, as does work on the drywall finishes of the basement walls. Also in progress is electrical and plumbing in-wall on Level 1; layout for Core and Shell for Levels 1-5; and interior wall layouts throughout the structure.
Concrete slab work has now been completed for Levels 1-7, and the basement-Level 5 have been fireproofed.
Upcoming construction this month includes putting up the exterior curtain wall, and elevator shaft 9 will be upgraded into a 2-hour rated MEP shaft assembly. Scheduled completion is by mid-June.
Civil work at the north end of the parking lot will continue through the summer of 2026.
Demolition and installation work will continue on the west side of the hospital through 2027 for fueling and liquid oxygen infrastructure.
Potential Operational Impacts
Existing elevator 8 will be temporarily unavailable during daytime hours until the second week of June.
Tudor Center Drive will experience lane closures until June 17.
The west side of the site will be impacted for foot and vehicle traffic through the Summer of 2026.
Brick demolition on the east side of the existing hospital building will cause noise and vibration.
Air intake plenums installed to improve air flow may cause some noise.
Stairwell 6 closure is ongoing and is scheduled to run through the Spring of 2027.
