With one more month of 2025 remaining, basement concrete work is nearing completion, and stairs have been installed in three locations. Pan decking has been installed at zones 5-10 on level 3, and construction crews are continuing concrete slab work, which is expected to be completed sometime this month.
As temperatures drop, levels 1 and 2 are now enclosed for heating purposes. Zone 10 (see map of zones below), level 4 steel is scheduled for completion in December, and steel structure placement is ongoing and will continue through January 2026.
Potential Operational Impacts:
The crane operation and steel installation will have minimal impact on hospital operations. There may be some disruptions due to noise or vibration as workers progress. The closure of Stairwell 6 is ongoing and is scheduled to continue through the Spring of 2027.
The project is on track for completion in Spring 2028.
