Provider Support and Training
As a provider, you want to give the best care possible to your patients. As a community, you want to provide the services your people need. Our programs and training ensure that Alaska Native people have access to the highest levels of care, when and where they need it.

Alaska Health Aide Programs
Care close to home. The Alaska Health Aide Program trains people across the state to provide behavioral, community and dental health aid in their home communities.
Together, we’ve created a workforce of over 500 Community Health Aides or Practitioners (CHA/Ps), more than 100 Behavioral Health AIdes or Practitioners (BHA/P), and over 70 Dental Health Aide Therapists (DHAT) serving the health care needs of Alaska Native people in more than 170 unique communities throughout our state.
