Over the past year, ANTHC Marketing and Communications has been working hard to bring a new and improved website experience to you.
We are happy to announce that it launched earlier today!
The new site offers our visitors a more streamlined site. It was built based on usage data and extensive partnerships across ANTHC so that you can more quickly find the things you need. Whether you’re curious to learn about our many offerings and programs or want to access your medical info and schedule appointments, the new site has everything you need, right at your fingertips.
Why change?
Spring cleaning in the summer of course!
All jokes aside, when we stepped back and viewed the site from the perspective of the people we serve, we realized that a lot of the most searched or sought-after information was also the hardest information to find. After doing a deep dive, we identified the ways the former site fell short and consulted division leaders to find the right solutions, providing a better experience for you.
Some improvements you might notice:
- Mobile optimization
- Improved search capabilities
- Bolder and easier navigation
- Comprehensive resource library
- Streamlined program-based pages filled with quick links to resources
A few tips for navigating the site:
- There are two menus at the top of every page on the site. The first (pictured in blue text in the image below) is focused on the links patients most frequently access. Access your MyHealth portal or find information on patient travel, visit the Walk-in Clinic or ANMC specialty services all at the click of a button.
- The second menu (in black in the image below) is geared towards all visitors wishing to learn about the programs and services ANTHC and our partners offer. You can learn more about ANTHC through the “Who We Are” dropdown menu, learn about our offerings and initiatives in the “Programs and Services” and “Initiatives” menus, search and apply for jobs in the “Work With Us” menu, read about the latest happenings in the “News” menu and search the massive resource library under the “Resources” menu. On every page, you’ll also see a “Contact Us” button for quick and easy access to ANTHC representatives with answers to your questions.

- Lastly, you can always navigate to the home page by clicking on the ANTHC logo in the upper left-hand corner of your screen (also in the image below).

- Every page features a “Top of Page” button in the bottom right corner of the screen. If you find yourself deep into a page and need to navigate back to the top, simply click the button and up you’ll go.
- Search: Most pages contain a search bar (and if you are ever on a page without one, simply return to the homepage) located on the right side of your screen. Search for anything from resources to reports.

- Content on This Page: Most pages will have a dropdown menu titled “Content on This Page”. Click the downward arrow to see a menu of the page contents. For example, the Community Health page menu (pictured above) features the following dropdown menu.

Click on any of the menu items to head to that section of the page. For example, clicking on the Behavioral Health menu link will send you to the Behavioral Health section of the page, pictured below:
- Dropdown menus: Many pages have links to resources or other sections of the sites (similar to a sub-menu) featured through dropdown menus. Here is an example from the Behavioral Health site when you click on the green button pictured above (“Learn More About Behavioral Health Services”):

- The arrow on the left in the image above shows an “expanded” dropdown menu under the title of “Resources.” You can see the many clickable links related to the Alaska Blanket Exercise. On the right side of the picture, you can see dropdown menus that have not been expanded (titled “Clinic Hours” and “Learn More”). Simply click the “+” to expand a dropdown menu. Click it again to collapse it.
If you have any feedback about the new site, share your feedback with the form on our contact us page. Thank you for reading about ANTHC’s new site. We’ve worked hard to bring you the best experience possible. Enjoy!
