The ANTHC Cardiology Clinic is moving to a new location with expanded services that will enhance the system of care for heart and cardiovascular patients. On October 31, the Cardiology Clinic will move from the Alaska Native Medical Center hospital to the second floor of the Healthy Communities Building (HCB) located at 3900 Ambassador Drive.
When the Cardiology Clinic moves to its new location, it will expand to include 20 exam rooms, six testing rooms, and one procedure room. On-call cardiology services will continue to be based at ANMC.
With the move, ANTHC will provide expanded vascular services. The Vascular Surgery Clinic will also be housed in this new location.
The new clinic space in the HCB represents a significant step in establishing a modern system of care for the Alaska Native and American Indian people we serve. The new location will provide our patients with more space and the latest amenities, allowing our providers to treat a greater number of people than ever before.
Cardiology is the medical specialty that treats the heart and parts of the circulatory system. Cardiologists specialize in diagnosing and treating conditions related to the cardiovascular system. The Cardiology Clinic is staffed with board-certified cardiologists and advanced nurse practitioners who are the leading healthcare providers for all cardiovascular needs within the Alaska Tribal Health System.
