James & Ernie Comedy Duo help support ANTHC’s Healthy Alaska Natives Foundation and the ANTHC patient housing facilityFebruary 19, 2016
Next week, ANTHC’s Healthy Alaska Natives Foundation and Injury Prevention Program will kick off the first of many fundraising events to benefit the patient housing facility on the Alaska Native Health Campus. The THRIVE! event in Kotzebue on Feb. 27 will feature the James & Ernie Comedy Duo, a hilariously funny, family-friendly show that will raise funds for items that will help make the patient housing facility a well-rounded “home away from home” for our people traveling to Anchorage for care at ANMC.
Event tickets are $10 each and available for purchase at inspiringgoodhealth.org. James Junes and Ernie David Tsosie III, the James & Ernie Comedy Duo, are sober and drug-free performers, presenters, and motivational speakers from the Navajo Nation. Their comedy presentation has been described has a “healing medicine good for all people!” James & Ernie have visited many Tribes in Native America with their healing comedy and strong testimonies of surviving and defeating drug addiction, alcoholism, childhood abuse and more.
James & Ernie will perform at many events held in rural communities throughout the spring to help support the Foundation’s fundraising efforts for the patient housing facility and promote the health of our Alaska Native people.
